When you create a new design you always collect a lot of fabric waste. I say no to fabric waste. Remnants of fabric are being used for scrunchies, accessories… The unusable scraps go to ‘Be The Fibre’, a Belgian brand specialized in the design of circular products.
All the fabric scraps are being fiberised and processed into beautiful, unique new accessories. The revenue goes to different sustainable development projects.
In this way we make the mountain of waste that little bit smaller.
Say no to fabric waste.
With a lot of love and passion I started sewing my own collections two years ago. Now, in 2023 I’m outsourcing the production to focus on the ecological, sustainable future of my label. The collections are now being made by The Lane Atelier located in Amsterdam. The most important reason why I’m working with a sewing atelier in the Netherlands is the local & fair aspect. It’s so important for me that the production stays as local as possible and that the collections are fairly produced, under good working circumstances.
Howla is known for creating a neat and even finish. Thanks to the local production I guarantee a beautiful and sublime finish of the designs as I’m in control of the production.
